Our Story
DUST+GLORY was born from a collision — where human fragility meets the divine love of Jesus.
We are made of dust. And still, we carry glory.
This movement exists to bring people back to the kindness of Jesus — the Jesus who is not afraid of brokenness, not threatened by questions, and not distant from pain.
Too often, faith has been reduced to performance, tradition, or pressure to appear “together.” But the Gospel was never meant to be confined to culture, expectation, or religious systems that forget the hurting.
It was always meant to be Good News for real people.
What We Believe
We believe Jesus is not fragile.
He is not afraid of trauma. Not intimidated by mental health struggles. Not punitive towards addiction and recovery. Not distant from grief, doubt, or rebuilding faith.
We believe Jesus meets people in their actual lives — not just their polished moments.
We believe grace is not an idea — it is a Person who steps into the middle of human suffering and says, “I am not leaving you here.”
Why This Matters
We at DUST+GLORY have been shaped, marked, formed and are growing still through lived experience — as fellow peer support in the faith space and journey with Jesus — we exist to boast in our weakness as is fitting for those who desire to live by grace through faith.
Choosing to lead transparently means:
Refusal to separate faith from mental health.
Refusal to silence pain in the name of spirituality.
Refusal to let people believe they are too broken to be loved by God.
Refusal to turn a blind eye towards survivors of abuse.
This space was shaped as a response to the tension of loving Jesus deeply while also grieving how often religious culture fails the very people Jesus ran toward.
Healing and safety belong together. Accountability should always be wrapped in compassion. We are here to walk alongside the hurting — not ahead of them.
Nothing about us happens without us — your story, your voice, and your dignity matter in the process of becoming whole.
This is where brokenness and beauty meet.
Where Jesus is not afraid to enter the mess.
Where grace does not wait for perfection.
Where love speaks first to every story, every background and every becoming.
